My name’s Laurence, I’m a Melbourne-based aviation photographer with a strong focus on firefighting aircraft and military aviation. I specialise in capturing aircraft at work often in demanding conditions where timing and precision matter most. I absolutley love rotor blur, and I use it to convey motion, power, and realism in my images rather than freezing aircraft unnaturally in time. Through clean, deliberate compositions, I aim to tell the story of the crews and aircraft that operate some of the most advance aircraft in the world, showcasing both the capability of the machines and the skill of the people who fly them.
